Auxiliary Masthead Bermudian Cutter DESIRADE is of composite construction, the product of the co-operation between Nauta Yachts and Bruce Farr, good-looking with a timeless style. She sails very well and easily as we found in 35 knots of wind experienced during the Sea Trial at the time of the present owners' purchase in 2004. The interior layout starts in the well lit pilothouse which provides good shelter and a nice viewing platform as the world goes by. The lower saloon is naturally lit from above yet provides a distinctly different area. A good sized dining area is to port and a lounging area to starboard. All the crew area and galley is forward of the saloon with the guest area aft and accessed from the pilothouse. Immediately at the foot of the steps, you find a twin guest cabin with upper and lower berths. The double guest cabins are to port and starboard with the owner's cabin furthest aft. All four cabins have en suite facilities. The joinery style is understated but attractively executed by Sangermani. Winter 2006/07 ashore in Mallorca resulted in a refit which included a new paint job.
