The 1938 staysail schooner, PANDA, designed by the great naval architect Alfred Milne, was the inspiration behind the creation of GLORIA for her first owner. She was designed by Peter Beelsnijder, built in steel by Jongert, fitted out by another Dutch company, Lowland Yachts and launched in 1986. Seasoned mahogany was used to recreate an elegant and classic interior. The photos below show GLORIA's spacious and attractive living and dining area. Her guest cabins include a full width, aft, double owner's cabin with en-suite bathroom and Jacuzzi, 2 x VIP double, en-suite, guest cabins, 2 x twin guest cabins, each with head/shower compartments, plus 3 crew cabins. David East hopes soon to visit GLORIA in Greece, after which, more detailed photos will be added here. Please
