THALASSI - a superb ocean-going ketch by Ron Holland
We are delighted to offer THALASSI. She's a pretty Ron Holland centreboard ketch, drawing only 9ft with board raised. She was strongly built to endure world cruising, and that's the role she has performed. An extravagant programme of searching maintenance and upgrading in recent years presents THALASSI to an extremely high standard. She's had new teak decks, overhauls of her systems, major interior refurbishment, etc. We took this photograph off Cape Town in April 2004 just after the yacht's re-launch on completion of a 6 month refit which included topside and superstructure re-painting. THALASSI is MCA classed and was fitted, during original construction, with watertight interior compartments.
This is a really outstanding yacht!
